Child Development Center
The first few years of life are extremely important for health and development in children. Healthy development means that the child meets all age-appropriate milestones pertaining to their physical, mental, and psychological health.
They learn age-appropriate skills, such as sitting, walking, talking, etc., that help them transition from being completely dependent on parents / guardians to independence.
The five major development areas include cognitive development, social and emotional development, speech and language, gross motor skills, and fine motor skills. Monitoring these development areas is essential to ensure that the child's physical, emotional, and mental growth is age appropriate.
